The use of Generative AI (including but not limited to LLMs such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to create, draft, or "ghostwrite" the substance of the book, its plot, or its prose or its cover is strictly prohibited. By submitting a book, the author warrants that the work is an original human creation.

8.2b Permitted Assistive AI Tools

This policy does not prohibit the use of Assistive AI or "Augmentative Writing" tools. Authors are permitted to use software designed for:

Grammar and Spellchecking (e.g., Grammarly, Microsoft Editor).

Style and Structural Analysis (e.g., ProWritingAid, Hemingway Editor).

Transcription (e.g., Otter.ai for dictation).

8.2c Definition of Terms

Generative AI: Tools that produce original text or creative content based on prompts, where the AI is the primary "creator" of the prose.

Assistive AI: Tools that analyse, refine, or correct human-written text but do not generate the underlying creative narrative or ideas.

8.2d Right to Removal

BookHome reserves the right to remove any listing if there is reasonable evidence that the work was created in violation of Section 8.2.

8.3 "As-Is" Information
