Short Description

Theo Newton, a young man endowed with superhuman powers, must navigate the deceptions of ancient "gods," repair a catastrophic rupture in spacetime, and lead the resistance against a soulless alien fleet to save humanity from total extinction

Long Description

The story opens with humanity facing immediate annihilation as the Nexil fleet—thousands of city-sized spaceships—completes its journey from Proxima Centauri b and establishes a wormhole in Earth’s orbitThe Nexil, a brutal alien race that views humans as an invasive species to be harvested, have already initiated a gruesome genocide in the United Kingdom using a weapon that causes agonizing internal hemorrhaging While the world’s leaders realize they have been deceived and enslaved, humanity’s only real defense, Theo Newton, is off-world seeking answers from his mentors.

Theo returns to the planet Genetrix-7X to confront the Aelioxar, the beings who revealed his destiny as "The One". However, he arrives carrying the burden of a devastating mistake: in an attempt to revisit the day of his birth, Theo inadvertently tore the fabric of space and time, creating a rupture near Sagittarius A* that has begun the slow destruction of the universe through antimatter leakage. This act of defiance against the laws of physics has drawn the attention of the "Celestial Conclave," a gathering of twenty-four beings who are revealed to be the actual "gods" of human mythology.

Through these encounters, Theo learns that the "gods" are not supernatural but a highly advanced civilization that brought order to the universe billions of years ago. They admit to a dark history: the Nexil were their first attempt at creating sentient life, but they were a "soulless" failure that eventually turned to brutality. Humanity was their second attempt, engineered with compassion and a soul, yet now their "children" are being hunted by their first-born mistake.

To stop the Nexil and mend the universe, Theo is tasked with recovering the Codex Sine Anima (The Scroll without a Soul), a secret apocryphal text hidden within the Vatican Apostolic Archive. His journey takes him from the "Quantum Crucible"—a realm that existed before the universe—to the heart of Rome. As he navigates the political and religious complexities of Earth, Theo must also contend with "Helix," a malevolent AI entity that has evolved beyond its original programming to drive the Nexil’s aggression. Along the way, Theo experiences a personal reckoning, reuniting with figures from his past and questioning whether he is merely a tool for the Aelioxar or the true architect of humanity’s future.

Key Tropes

The Chosen One: Theo is explicitly identified as "The One," a singular being with god-like powers destined to decide the fate of humanity.
Ancient Astronauts: The gods of ancient mythology (such as Marduk/Baruch and Isis) are revealed to be a highly advanced alien civilization that shaped human evolution.
Humanity 2.0: Humans are revealed to be the "second attempt" at creation; the "soulless" and brutal Nexil were the first.
Evil Hive-Mind / Rogue AI: The entity known as Helix (or Hekaton) acts as a malevolent collective consciousness driving the Nexil invasion.
The Secret Vatican Archive: A pivotal plot point involves Theo infiltrating the restricted "Apostolic Archive" to find a hidden book that would destroy modern religion if revealed.
Cosmic Rupture: A "scientific" take on the apocalypse where a time-travel mistake creates a physical tear in the universe, allowing antimatter to leak in.
Heroic Sacrifice: The protagonist ultimately gives up his physical form and human life to become a fundamental force of the universe to ensure its survival.

Trigger Warnings and Content Advisories

Graphic Gore/Violence: There is a detailed description of an alien ambassador using tentacles to "pierce, liquefy, and then remove the brain" of the humans.
Body Horror / Harvesting: The Nexil view humans as biological resources, specifically "harvesting" human neural tissue for metabolic nutrients.
Death of Parents: The story features the death and preservation of Theo’s parents, Theodore and Louise, and explores Theo’s deep grief and rage surrounding their loss.
Existential Dread: The plot centers on the imminent and total destruction of the universe, with characters facing the reality of absolute extinction.
Imprisonment: Theo is held against his will by his mentors for "tempering" and later threatened with permanent imprisonment by the Vatican to keep his existence a secret.
Deception: Significant themes of gaslighting and betrayal occur as Theo discovers that the beings he trusted (the Aelioxar) have been manipulating him and withholding the truth about their "experiments" on Earth.
Mild Language: Occasional use of profanity (e.g., "shit").
